Four Lines Individual


Arc Circle

Description

  • IN : kite at <15 in upright position
  • Kite flies straight upwards, followed by a half circle
    to reach >15, and then down to about ^20 all in upright position
    this is followed by flying a circle (towards center window) of size 20°
    while flying the circle the kite itself turns evenly 360° too (backwards flying)
    after the circle the kite flies down backwards and land at >15
  • OUT : after landing

Scoring factors

keeping the kite in upright position, as described – 30
backwards flying of the circle – 30
size of the circle – 20
size of the whole figure – 20


Follow the Flow

Description

  • IN : at <45, kite standing
  • after 10° upward flight the kite flies half a circle
    width 30°, while turning 180°
    back at ^10 a stretch of 30°, sideways,
    followed by another half circle, 180° turning and a 10° downward stretch
  • OUT : after landing at >45

clean transition of flight direction on both end of the horizontal – 20

Square and Circle

Description

  • IN : kite flying horizontally, forward at ^10<25
  • at >15 the kite flies upward along a ‘false’ vertical till ^40
    then, flying to the left, at center window the kite turns into a circle
    width 30°, all flown forward
    after finishing the circle, at ^40 center window, the kite flies the other half of the square
  • OUT : after the square and a horizontal stretch at >25

Tipped Square

Description

  • IN : at ^0<> 0
  • after launch about 5° up, then a 45° turn c.c.w.
    the square is flown keeping the kite in the same position.
    top of the square is at ^45
    at about ^5, 0 and a c.w. turn the kite lands, flying backwards
  • OUT : after landing

Lazy Eight

Description

  • IN : at launch at <20
  • after vertical flight of 25°
    an infinity figure is flown, forward
    both arcs are circle segments with 20° diameter
    at the endof the infinity-figure backward flight down to launching position
  • OUT : after landing

Tic Tac

Description

  • IN : at ^20<20, in sideways flight
  • after 20° sideways flight
    3 c.w. 90° wingtip turns followed by
    3 c.c.w. 90° wingtip turns
    followed by another 20° sideways flight
  • OUT : at ^20>20, in flight
