Are kites art or sport? Single line kites art? Dualline kites sport? What happens when you paint sportkites like flying paintings?
The Space kites were made for a space show together with the kite flyers from the Drachen Syndicat. Drachen Syndicat has beautiful single line kites shaped and painted like planets. The sportkites are painted like spaceships and are flying around the planets on the music from the movie the Fifth Element. A theatrical play on music with kites was performed on different kite festivals around Europe in daytime and as nightshow.
The space kites are painted as a human space ship, complete with adjustable wings and cockpit. The other spaceship is a robot-ship.
