Pixel Genki

Size; 1.3 x 3.9 meters

Materials; polyester spinnaker sail/ frame carbon fiber 8-10 mm

The design of the kite was inspired by the pixel computer art. Here artists are always looking to display images with very few colored squares. The funny part of pixel drawings is that you can’t recognize the image at close range (you’ll only see colored tiles), but from a distance the image will be visible. This seems to be ideal for kite graphics.
The sails of the kites were printed using a very special procedure from a Spanish company in Spain, Esste. The color is printed through all the fabric fibers, so you can see the print on the backside, but more importantly, the spinnaker keeps its transparency. So the colors will be very bright in the light. No more applications needed.
